Join Tony and Ian on their 65th birthday ride

On Sunday October 10th the medium paced run from Rolleston will move and start from the Rosliston forestry centre at 9.30 – Ian jarvis and I are celebrating our 65th birthdays and are having a 66 mile run called ‘route 66’ – the route will be the Plan B reliability run (see map below) which will require 2 laps for the 66 miles. Any one is welcome to join us – the day will be very informal with Ian and I riding at a steady pace aiming for the 66 miles in about 5 hours with a cafe stop half way. All are welcome and at any pace of thier own choosing.

National Forest Randonnees

National Forest randonnees 5 September 2010 are on again

Randonnees, also known as Audax rides, offer a challenge to cycle over a set distance within a time limit. With generous time limits they can be ridden by all abilities, touring or sporting. Mercia HBM Cycling Club is organising a 100km from Moira village hall, centre of the National Forest, on Sunday 5 September.

Cannondale T2000 tourer, 2005 model. 48cm. Ultegra/XT/Trovativ parts; Mavic open sport wheels; racks; mudguards; computer.
