Waters brothers finish in top ten in Shipley Hall Cyclo Cross. David Clarke is the first finisher in his Sponsor's Sportive Event
The Waters family were again out in numbers at the 3rd SRAM Notts & Derby Cyclo Cross League race held at Shipley Hall Cricket Club, organised by Heanor Clarion. The first event was the under 10s race with 54 riders. Elliot rode magnificently to finish in 7th place considering he is an 8y ear old. The winner was John Webster (Matlock CC). In the under 12's Joshua was 3rd & Bailey 6th. Heanor Clarion rider William Gascoyne was the winner. In the combined Seniors, Ladies Juniors & Veterans race father Justin was 88th & grandfather Adrian was 104th out of 105 finishers. The winner was Senior rider ,from Great Longstone, Tom Last, (Sigma Sport, Specialised, Sportful Racing Team).

David Clarke travelled down to Ashburton in Devon to ride in the Tour of Dartmoor Sportive sponsored by David's racing team Pendragon Kalas. The event was over 106 miles of hilly terrain climbing a total of 12,500 ft. Clarke was the first rider to finish out of the 107 riders in 5 hrs. 27 minutes. The sportive started & finished in Ashburton. The cyclists went through Ugborough, Modbury, Horrabridge, Dartmoor National Park, Widdecombe in the Moor & Bovey Tracey.
