Annual Buffet Dinner & Prize PresentationThe annual buffet & prise presentation was held at the Castle Hotel Hatton. Our guests included councillors Jim Muir & Susan Grier. Peter Wain & his daughter Margaret Woolley to present the Sheila Wain Memorial trophy. Our guest of honour was Mark Sheffield of Sheffield Cycles. Our sponsors Howard & Dawn Bond were also in attendance.
Jim Muir spoke about his interest in supporting sports clubs & activity groups through charity trusts, for example the Burton East Sports Trust. Mark Sheffield spoke about his early days when he joined the club & how he progressed with helpful advise from senior members & better equipment.
