The Waters Family compete in the first event of the Nott's & Derby Cyclo Cross League & Noel Adams gets another road race placing
The Waters family were out in force in the first event of this season's Notts & Derby Cyclo Cross League, promoted by Derby Mercury RC at Sinfin Park. In his first race in the under 12's 10 year old Joshua finished an excellent 5th. Eight year old Bailey was 3rd & six year old Elliot was 10th in the under 10's race. Their father Justin finished in the 98 rider senior field (his first ride in cyclo cross) won by Ben Eedy (South Pennine RC)
Road racing at Darley Moor saw Noel Adams finish 14th & Simon Parker in the main field in the 3rd & 4th category race over 55 kilometres.
Gary Brown travelled to Princethorpe in Warwickshire to compete in the Leamington C & AC open 10 mile time trial. Gary timed 24 54 to finish in 21st place in an entry of 61 riders, The fastest rider was John Simpkins (Banbury Star CC) in 21 16.
