Evening time trial at Yoxall & Peter Rose competes in veterans time trial.
The last 10 mile evening time trial held at Yoxall this year saw 12 riders competing on a windy evening. This didn't prevent Sean Sleigh recording another excellent time. The times were as follows: Sean Sleigh (Plan B) 23 46, Simon Smith (Coalville Wheelers) 24 33, Keith Staley 26 27, Graham Martin (Coalville Wheelers) 27 29, Jeff Lea 28 09, Neil Sleigh (Plan B) 29 40, Andrew Wendle 29 50, Mark Ward 29 54, Justin Waters 30 19, Adrian Waters 30 29,
Phil Knott 31 02, and Peter Rose 35 49
Peter Rose travelled to Salford Priors in Warwickshire to compete with 108 other riders in the Midlands Veterans (open to all ages) 25 mile time trial. The course between Salford Priors Alcester & Twyford was a tough one, especially the 5 mile uphill section to the turn at Twyford island. His finishing time was 1 21 41. The winner was Richard Bradley (Shorter Rochford RT) in 51 11.
